About the Program

Real treatment and meaningful connection—wherever you are.

Nova Vitae offers telehealth services for eligible clients who cannot attend the Woodland Hills facility every day. Through secure video sessions, clients can participate from home or another private location while staying connected to their treatment team and recovery community. Telehealth can be especially helpful for people who work during the day, have family responsibilities, live farther away, or face transportation barriers.

Telehealth may be incorporated into Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and other outpatient services when remote participation is clinically appropriate. A typical online IOP can include scheduled group therapy, individual sessions, recovery education, relapse-prevention work, mental health support, case-management coordination, and medication services when appropriate. The frequency and schedule are based on each client’s assessed needs, and evening or other flexible programming may be available depending on current program scheduling.

Clients join scheduled sessions using a phone, tablet, or computer with a dependable internet connection. A private, quiet space is important so treatment remains confidential and clients can participate fully. Telehealth is interactive care—not a self-guided course—so clients are expected to attend consistently, engage in sessions, complete assigned recovery work, and remain in communication with the Nova Vitae team.

Telehealth is not the right level of care for every situation. Before enrollment, our team completes an assessment that considers substance use, withdrawal risk, physical and mental health, safety, home environment, technology access, and available support. Some services, evaluations, drug testing, or urgent concerns may still require in-person care. If a higher level of support is needed, our team will discuss the safest and most appropriate options.
