Stay connected to work
Outpatient care may reduce time away from work. Some clients can continue limited responsibilities, while others may need time off depending on symptoms, medications, and medical guidance.
Call 213-706-3329Outpatient Ambulatory Detox
A supported alternative to inpatient detox that may allow eligible clients to remain at home or in sober living while staying connected to work, family, and everyday life.

Typical program length in days.
Your plan is individualized.
A Different Way to Begin
Ambulatory detox, also called outpatient detox, provides structured withdrawal support without requiring an overnight stay at an inpatient facility. When clinically appropriate, you may complete detox from your own home with reliable home support or from a supportive sober living environment.
You keep access to your personal phone and remain connected to the people and responsibilities in your life. The detox period is often approximately 3โ10 days, but timing and services are based on your substance use, health history, symptoms, and response to treatment.

Support From the Start
Eligible clients receive individualized withdrawal support while remaining connected to their home environment, recovery supports, and the Nova Vitae treatment team.
Designed Around Real Life
Outpatient care may reduce time away from work. Some clients can continue limited responsibilities, while others may need time off depending on symptoms, medications, and medical guidance.
If your assessment confirms outpatient care is safe, you can begin detox without checking into a residential or hospital setting.
Our team can complete a free assessment and explain the next steps so appropriate care can begin without unnecessary delay.
Substances We Assess
Nova Vitae assesses people seeking detox support related to alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, and other substances. Because withdrawal risk is different for every person and substance, admission begins with a clinical assessment.
Outpatient detox is not safe or appropriate for everyone. If you have severe withdrawal symptoms, a history of complicated withdrawal, an unstable medical condition, or limited home support, a higher level of care may be recommended.
